For founder-led brands in beauty, food & drink, wine & spirits and jewelry

The Paris agency
for American brands with taste.

We build brands, campaigns and content for Chaumet, Château Latour and YSL Beauty. Now we do it for American founders ready to play premium.

Who calls us

Your brand just got invited to a better party.

Brands usually call us at one of these moments. The product is ready, the outfit isn't quite.

Wine & spirits

The next generation takes over the estate.

The wine is world-class. We make the label, the site and the film say so.

Like Château Canon
Beauty

You just landed Sephora.

Now you sit between two Paris houses. We make sure you hold your own.

Like YSL Beauty, Nina Ricci
Food & drink

You're going national.

It sells. We make it the jar people reach for first on a crowded shelf.

Like St. Dalfour
Jewelry & watches

You're opening a flagship.

From now on you're compared to Place Vendôme. We know the neighbors.

Like Chaumet, Girard-Perregaux
Sport & lifestyle

You're going global.

One brand, many markets. We keep the same swagger from Brooklyn to Berlin.

Work in the US

Already working in America.

What we do

The whole thing, de A à Z.

No relay race between four agencies. The people who write your strategy are on set, and they're still around when the posts go live.

Strategy

Positioning, naming, brand platform, launch plans. The thinking that makes the rest easy to say yes to.

Branding

Identity, packaging, guidelines, and copy that reads well in English and en français.

Shoots & film

Campaigns, product, still life, brand films. Directed by us, wherever the story is.

Digital & social

Sites, Shopify, launch experiences, and your social media run month after month, community included.

On location

Our crew travels light. Bon voyage to big budgets.

A tight crew, a local fixer and a director who's done it before. You pay for the shot, not the entourage.

Shot where it belongs

A Paris apartment, a Sonoma vineyard, a gym in Brooklyn. We go to the product, or ship it to us when that's smarter.

Built to launch everywhere

Our campaigns rarely go out in one country. We plan every shoot for each market and each format it has to live in.

New York standards, Paris rates

A senior team with no layers in between keeps the budget on screen, where it should be.

How we work

Quick on our feet. Picky about the details.

Small senior team, short loops, no account managers relaying messages. You can start with one project and keep us for the long run.

  1. Week 1

    We talk

Twenty minutes on Zoom with Nicolas or Maxime. We'll have done our homework on your brand.

  2. Weeks 2 to 3

    We show you

A clear strategy and a couple of creative routes, with real visuals. Something to react to, not a slideshow of mood.

  3. Then

We make it, and keep it going

Shared Slack, a weekly Zoom, reviews on Frame.io. After launch, we can run your content and social every month.

Six hours apart, and it works for you. We work while you sleep.

Who you'll deal with

You talk to the founders.

Nicolas Fretellière, co-founder of Goodkids
Nicolas FretellièreCo-founder · Strategy & clients

In advertising since 2012. TBWA\Paris on Hermès, Paco Rabanne and Air France, then AKQA, producing Google's work in France. Co-founded Goodkids in 2017 and launched Back Market in New York. He's the one you'll speak to first.

Maxime Le Toquin, co-founder of Goodkids
Maxime Le ToquinCo-founder · Production

In advertising since 2012. TBWA\Paris on Adidas, beIN Sports and Vichy, then Goodkids since 2018: YSL, Shiseido, Nina Ricci, Issey Miyake, the Venum launch film. Every quote, schedule and crew goes through him, so the budget ends up on screen.

Around us, the same art directors, writers and developers we've worked with for years, picked for each project.

Questions

What people ask us first.

Isn't it complicated, working with a team in Paris?

Less than you'd think. Our afternoon is your morning, so live calls happen between 9am and 1pm Eastern. The rest of the time the work moves while you're offline.

Will the copy sound American?

Yes. American copywriters write or review every line that goes out in English.

Can you shoot in the US?

Yes. We come over and direct with a local crew. Sometimes it makes more sense to ship the product to France, and we'll tell you when.

Who owns the work?

You do, once it's paid. It's written into the contract.

How do contracts and invoicing work?

A standard MSA and a statement of work for each project. We invoice in US dollars and you pay by bank transfer, like any other vendor.

Tell us what
you're building.

A few lines on the brand and what's next. We read everything, then set up a call with one of us. On y va?

We reply within 24 hours. Calls 9am to 1pm Eastern, 6am to 10am Pacific.

Thank you. We'll reply within 24 hours, from Paris.
